Grenzüberschreitendes Erben: Ernst Giese zum Erbrecht in Tschechien
Viele Bundesbürger zieht es nach Tschechien – insbesondere im Alter, da Pflegeheime dort deutlich günstiger sind als in Deutschland. „Grundsätzlich gilt ein in Deutschland verfasstes Testament weiterhin“, sagt Ernst Giese, Rechtsanwalt bei Giese & Partner in Prag. Allerdings gibt es in Tschechien – anders als in Deutschland – kein gesetzlich vorgesehenes gemeinschaftliches Testament. Diese werden in Tschechien nicht anerkannt. Rechtsanwalt Giese rät daher, ein deutsches Testament an das tschechische Recht anzupassen.
